YashwantBeing physically active is synonymous with breathing for Yashwanth. He has played cricket at state level, Kabbadi at district level and a yellow belt in Okinawan Karate. Diametrically opposite to his passions, he has a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering with a professional training from HAL. He is unaware of how Yoga came and took over his life. “I don’t know! It just happened.” He specializes in Hata Yoga, but is interested in Iyengar Yoga. His class philosophy is rooted in the Chakras, and he works from the Mooladhara Chakra to the Sahasrara chakra. He is also very interested in the philosophy of Yoga, and tries to merge that into his daily life as much as possible. Poetry is one of his passions, and he has been the lyricist for a few short films. Yashwanth loves watching movies.

“Yoga is a tool to reach my true self.”

Make Yoga part of Life

The principles laid out in Patanjali’s yoga sutras dating back to 500 B.C. are still very relevant today, even in our modern information world. Yoga has evolved a lot from the days of Patanjali; it has taken different forms to meet the varying needs of practitioners all along its journey. Yoga continues to accept all changes, like the ocean accepts the river, absorbs, assimilates and grows. (A distinctive feature of sanaatan dharma of India)
