Indira-CAn economics postgraduate student, Indira worked for four years in big investment firms like HSBC and Franklin Templeton. She wanted to change from her sedentary lifestyle and the lack of job satisfaction was eating away at her, she switched to teaching Yoga full time in 2012. Her first class was in 2008 with a teacher who would teach Yoga for free for the entire community. “I was thrilled to see my body and mind responding to Yoga. Then I decided to include Yoga into my lifestyle.” Indira specialises in Hata Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. But she loves to take Power Yoga and Pilates classes. She emphasises on alignment during asana practice and her classes flow from a low to high intensity. In her free time, Indira loves to dance, especially while she is cooking. She rid herself of the back pain she developed during and after her pregnancy, with the help of Yoga.
