AlbinAlbin is a graphic designer specialized in 2-d VFX graphics. While working in Dubai, long hours in front of a screen took its toll, and Albin turned to Yoga for recovery. The practice enabled him to find the calmness, composure and peace of mind required to tap into his creativity as a graphic designer. Although his passion in the visual field was immense, his passion for Yoga overtook his passion for Computer graphics. He has been practicing Yoga for 8 years and has completed his Teacher Training Course from the Sivananda Ashram, Neyyar Dam. He focuses on the traditional Hata style and believes that it delivers the true essence of Yoga to any practitioner. He likes to take medium intensity classes with a slow pace as he aims to give his students enough time to connect with their inner self. He is still a huge fan of computer graphic movies, computer games and Japanese Anime. He is always in wonder of the ingenious ways and hard work the makers of a game or movie go through to bring their beautiful imaginations to life.

Yoga for Albin is “a tool that aids in human evolution. It is a way of life… that will help one bring out the best in oneself for practical purposes… and eventually lead to one’s true self.”

Make Yoga part of Life

The principles laid out in Patanjali’s yoga sutras dating back to 500 B.C. are still very relevant today, even in our modern information world. Yoga has evolved a lot from the days of Patanjali; it has taken different forms to meet the varying needs of practitioners all along its journey. Yoga continues to accept all changes, like the ocean accepts the river, absorbs, assimilates and grows. (A distinctive feature of sanaatan dharma of India)
