The workshop will be a dynamic sequence of standing, sitting, balancing, twisting with a strong emphasis on inversion asanas to bring balance in the body and mind.

Day 1 :

The focus is on fundamental standing asanas, seated poses, twisting, balancing- both arm balances and one legged balancing and inversions. Arm balancing poses typically build strength in arms, legs and the core muscles and helps sharpen mental focus.

For people of any age, weight bearing postures are useful for strengthening and maintaining bone health.

Day 2 :

Move past fear build better balance and strengthen your core body with arm balances like Adho Mukha Vrkshasana, Chaturanga Dandasana, Bakasana, Vashishtasana etc

Balancing tones and invigorate the various internal organs of the body. Learn to activate the ” core ” and improve functioning of the abdominal muscles and the inner organic body.

Inversions literally “gives the heart a break”‘ rejuvenates the organic body and calms the mind and spirit. Emphasis will be placed on correct positioning and a safe approach to getting into and coming down from these asanas.

Eligibility of a practitioner:

Suitable for students practicing since nine months and more. Students are expected to work vigorously but according to individual capacity.

Learn the fundamentals of balancing asanas to align your body’s center of gravity with the earth’s gravitational field.. This workshop will improve your balance, alignment and build strength, courage and will power.
